The first TOP 14 1/4 play-off game in the history of Montpellier will be played at the Stade Pierre Antoine on Sat 14th May ko 16.25 against Castres who finished 3rd with 76pts in this seasons competition.

This is now just another game, no bonus points but one game at a time, play one, win one, move on to the semis, loose and its holiday time, so Montpellier have absolutely no pressure on them they are playing away from home and for the first time ever, all the pressure is on Castres, so our Cistes can prepare the match with no worries about bonus pts or what other teams will do.
In fact a perfect way to prepare for a match of this importance, this seasons TOP 14 game at Castres was a 9 try fest with Montpellier making far too many mistakes, but to be sure the same mistakes will not happen twice but the same referee will!!! Yes we have the absolute pleasure of having once again Mon. Marciello on the whistle, did not realise it was already Christmas!!!.
This mornings training session went very well with the team being put through their paces, all worked very hard and you can see the concentration etched on the faces of those involved, for this forth coming historic match.
The press arrived in abundance, funny really as most had written us off against Toulon and “Voila” here they all are, present and ready, what will they be saying about the Castres game, we shall wait and see.??
The only player missing from this mornings session was Seta Tuilevuka, who fractured his wrist against Toulon so he is plastered for a while and will be going on holiday to Fiji, where he will joined by his older brother, who is still playing in the USA.
To all whom have those magic tickets for Saturday’s match at Castres have a great day drive safely and leave your voices in Castres. See you all Saturday…
