This coming Saturday evening K.O. 20.45 at the Stadium Yves de Manoir, Montpellier takes on newcomers to the TOP 14, Racing Metro 92 from Paris. This is going to be a very interesting encounter and a match not be missed. This week Montpellier will be training behind closed doors, with no press and no public, obviously they will be working extremely hard and the starting team will not be published until just before the kick off, maybe to keep the opposition guessing, but our Internationals Trinh-Duc, and Club Captain Ouedraogo are in the squad of 27, along with Gorgodze who has now served his suspension punishment.
Montpellier are looking for a must win, to elevate themselves from the relegation zone, and Racing will be coming looking for points as they are heading towards H. Cup qualification, and of course Racing no doubt will be arriving with all their stars, Chabal, Nallet, Steyn, just to mention a few, plus of course our ex- Montpellier players Clem Baiocco (who was recently drafted in the National 6 nations squad) and ex captain Ollie Diomande could also be on show. The game is being televised by Canal+Sport, but being present to get behind our Blue et Blanc, is always a much better proposition.
