SELF BELIEF, INSPIRATION, AND A LITTLE BLOOD AND GUTS !!!
Publié le 14/04/2011
Just 3 games left in this seasons TOP 14, the first against Bayonne on Saturday k.o. 14.30 at the Stade Yves du Manoir. The situation is incredibly tight at the top with still a possible 9 teams able to qualify for the final 6 places, but after this weekend it will be clearer for some but very murky waters ahead for others.
Montpellier has their destiny in their hands, win all the games and they could finish 2nd or 3rd but that is easier said than done. Just look back to last weekend Toulouse more or less had the match wrapped up at 17-0 at half time against Biarritz, a little less self belief and mental attitude the game was nearly lost!!!
The time for no mistakes has come but only players who do nothing, make no mistakes, this is where the teams self belief and mental attitude starts to come to the surface. The voyage that has taken Montpellier from finishing 10th last season to being in the top 3 for most of the season is coming to an end, can our Cistes overcome the nerves of the last 240 mins. of rugby and make club history, YES they can, but to do this every player will have to will have to contribute the mightiest of efforts.
The Gentle Giant and the General (Bechu Galthie) are preparing exactly what is needed, but they will not be on the park on Saturday afternoon, this is the players contribution, but if they can take the field with a mental attitude, team spirit, inspiration and just a little blood and guts things will happen. No one can be sure of their destination but if in control of all the faculties the desire and determination will always be a little easier, but take nothing for granted.
The talking will last all week till Saturday 14.30 then the talking stops and the belief begins, Montpellier have not come this far to fall at the final hurdle, but they cannot do it alone they need your support, get behind your team, cheer them on to victory, only 2 home games left to encourage your favourites into battle and be part of just maybe, an historic event!
SEE YOU ALL SATURDAY WEARING BLUE AND WHITE.
