Today, rugby is the second most popular sport in France. The sport conveys positive values of comradeship and team spirit. To be a rugby player implies complete devotion to the team, self sacrifice and a genuine fighting spirit.
In Montpellier and around the city there is a growing feeling of passion for Rugby. The reasons for this interest are numerous but it is really not surprising when you consider all come down to two things: success and victories. First, in 2003 there was the Pro D2 championship title and as a reward, the ticket to access the national Elite ‘Top 16’ division. It follows in 2004, a European success with the victory in the Parker Pen Shield. The same year the Club was given the honour for the third time in a row, to host the ‘TOP 16’ semi-finale. Last but not least, the construction of the superb Ovalie Rugby Park, gave Montpellier the unique opportunity to be chosen as one of the World Cup 2007 site.

All branches of industry (building, environmental resources management, wholesalers, cars dealership) and various company size (from the individual private owned company to the global company) are represented in our pool. It is for all a unique place to meet and to build a tight network of business relationships.
In return to your membership MHRC’s various programme sponsorship packages include:

A bright future for the MHRC’s sponsors :
The construction of our new Yves du Manoir Rugby Arena foresees a bright future for the development of our sponsors’ programs. The Club will soon play in front of 12,000 fans and partners. The facility will also boast lodges and, reception rooms of about 1400 m2. The new infrastructure will be adapted to welcome an increasing number of sponsors.
In addition, the Rugby Academy Centre will grow and will keep on producing young talented players blooded in the senior side.
