Saturday evening Stade Yves du Manoir k. o. 20.45 sees the visit of Exeter Chiefs for the final pool 3 game in this seasons Amlin Challenge Cup. Exeter newly promoted this year into the English Premiership have been doing very well just recently, after a shaky start to the season they have found their marks, the last couple of months they have won a few games and dragged themselves into a reasonable league position, and are coming to Montpellier to contest for the qualification into the 1/4 finals of the Challenge Cup. They have a good set of forwards who like all Premiership sides are very aggressive and will need some stopping, the backs are beginning to gel together nicely and have had some excellent outings in recent weeks. They will also be bringing their very colourful supporters who dress as Red Indian Chiefs also renowned for making plenty of noise, so maybe an “ALLEZ LES BLEUS “ just to put them of their game plan!!!
Montpellier however are full of confidence and apart from their slip up at Bourgoin have a 100% record in the Amlin this season, and also not forgetting we are still unbeaten by any side at home this season, whether it be TOP 14 or Amlin Challenge Cup.
The team will be much the same as was fielded against Newcastle Falcons last week with maybe minor changements, but this will no walk in the park for Montpellier and they will have to have their wits about them and be on their very best mettle, if they are to continue on  their excellent road to ¼ final qualification.
